Meet Tammy
Tammy has studied dance for 43 years. She has been classically trained in all styles of dance including Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. Tamm began her dance training with Madame Shamburger, a past choreographer at the esteemed North Carolina School of the Arts. She then continued her dance education with Joe Tremaine, Frank Hatchett, and Gus Giordano. Tammy graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
She has won numerous awards both regionally and nationally and has been honored with several choreography awards at competitions around the nation. Tammy has traveled across the states as a judge for Star Systems, Kids Artistic revue, and Masquerade dance competitions. Under her direction, her studio has earned a reputation of excellence in dance nationwide. TPCS has been recognized by Dance Spirit Magazine as one of the "Top Fifty Competitive Studios in the United States and Canada." Dancer Magazine also named TPCS as one of the top three studios in the state of Louisiana, and the Federation of Dance named TPCS as the top competitive studio in the South Central Division of the United States.
